# Shopper's Corner — Case Study

**Client:** Shopper's Corner
**Services:** Web Design, Web Development, Front-end / Back-end, Craft CMS
**Live site:** https://www.shopperscorner.com/

## About the Client

Shopper's Corner is a family-owned grocery store in Santa Cruz, California, established in 1937. Consistently voted the area's best for fine wines, cheeses, and butcher services, it has been a community institution for over 87 years.

## The Project

When owner Andre Beauregard's website featured outdated Flash components creating barriers for customers, NMBL implemented a comprehensive modernization. The site was migrated to Craft CMS on fortrabbit hosting, dramatically improving performance and maintainability.

During the pandemic, NMBL developed a custom React-based shopping list component to streamline the customer experience, allowing shoppers to build and share grocery lists digitally.

The project included:
- Full website redesign reflecting the store's premium, community-rooted identity
- Migration from Flash-based components to Craft CMS
- fortrabbit hosting migration
- Custom React shopping list component (developed during COVID-19)
- Staff training for content management

## Testimonial

> "Our store has been part of this community for generations and our website needed to reflect that. NMBL understood our roots immediately, delivered a redesign that feels authentic to who we are, and trained our staff to keep it updated with ease."
