Why we build with SvelteKit
Most clients never ask what their website is built with, and they shouldn't have to. But the tools behind your site decide how fast it loads, what it costs to run, and how easily it can grow.
What SvelteKit is
SvelteKit is a modern framework for building websites and web apps. Most web shops in our area build on WordPress or page builders. We build on SvelteKit.
It adds everything a real site needs: page routing, pre-built pages, server logic, forms and SEO-friendly rendering. One framework covers a five-page marketing site, a headless store or a full web app.
Less code in the browser
Frameworks like React ship a chunk of their own code to every visitor's browser, and that code does its work while the page runs.
Svelte does most of that work ahead of time, when the site is built. Visitors get small, focused code instead of a whole framework, and pages respond faster on every device.
What it means for you
Faster pages
Less to download, especially on phones. Better Core Web Vitals and rankings.
No plugin pile-up
Features are built into the site, not bolted on and patched monthly.
Lower hosting costs
Pre-built pages served from a global network are cheap and handle spikes.
Fewer security headaches
No public admin login and no plugin vulnerabilities to chase.
Faster delivery
Short, readable code means more time on design and fewer bugs.
Room to grow
Add a portal, booking or a store later without switching platforms.
When we use React instead
SvelteKit is our default, not a religion. We build with React when your in-house team already works in it, when a tool like Shopify's Hydrogen requires it, or when you're also building a mobile app with React Native.
The goal is always the same: the fastest, most maintainable result for your business.
What a build looks like
We pair SvelteKit with a headless CMS like Sanity, so your team edits content without a developer, and host it on a global edge network so pages load fast everywhere.
